  Message Function Menu:

HOW TO PULL UP AND SELECT MESSAGE FUNCTION MENU:

Whenever this display any type of message, you can press Key C to pull up the Message Function Menu.  After you have pressed the Key C, the screen will display "LOCK?"   Now you can press the Key B to switch between the options, and press Key C to select the function, or Key D to escape from the Message Function Menu. 

The optional functions for each Data Bank are different;

PERSONAL: [LOCK?], [NOTEBOOK], [DELETE?]

LOCKED: [UNLOCK?]

NOTEBOOK: [DELETE?]

PUBLIC 1-8: [DELETE?]

If you selected the [LOCK?] or [NOTEBOOK] option, then the particular PERSONAL message will switch to the correspondent Data Bank.  If you selected the [UNLOCK?] option, then the LOCKED message will store back to PERSONAL Data bank.

Main Function Menu:

HOW TO PULL UP AND SELECT MAIN FUNCTION MENU:

While the standby screen displays, you can press Key C to pull up the Main Function Menu.

HOW TO SET ALERT MODE:

In standby screen, press Key C to display SET ALERT MODE.  You can select from the Alert mode options:

  • alert with circulation of 10 different musical alerts.
  • 10 different musical alerts.
  • 10 different tone alerts.
  • 10 different tone alerts plus vibration.

Pressing Key A to change and listen to different musical or tone alerts and then press Key C to confirm your selection while the desired alert is playing, or press Key D to escape from this Function Menu.

  • short beep alert
  • silent (mute) alert
  • continuous vibrating alert.
  • intermittent vibrating alert.

After you have confirmed your selection, the pager will perform a demonstration of your selected alert mode.

In the top left corner of the display screen AUDIO  OR   [with a line through it ] VIBRATION will display depending on your selection.  Also, the different type of detail Alert Mode indicator will be displayed at the middle of the standby screen.

+¯ = Circulate music alert mode

1¯ = Music alert mode

X(   = Tone alert mode

¯  = Short beep alert mode

x     =  Silent (mute) alert mode

» = Continuous vibration alert mode

HOW TO DELETE MESSAGES IN DIFFERENT DATA BANKS:

Press Key C to display standby screen. Press Key A to switch between the data banks: Unread, Personal, Locked, Notebook and Public 1 to Public 8.**Choice of data banks will not display when it is empty.

Select Delete Message Menu:

You can press Key B to switch between options of Personal or Public. While Delete Public screen displays, press Key A to switch between Public 1 - Public 8.  Then press Key C to confirm you selection while the desired data bank is displaying.

Then you can choose to delete all messages or messages received how many days before today in the particular data bank.  If you wish to delete message by day then you can press Key A to adjust the day from 01 to 60 days, and then press Key C to confirm.

Preset Clock Alarm:

Press Key D, Press Key C, Press Key B to display Preset Alarms.

Press Key C to display selection of alarms. You can preset up to 12 alarms. 

Press Key A to select alarm 1-12.  Press Key B to change alarm.  This causes DISABLE to flash. 

Press Key A to choose Day of the week M-F, Everyday, or Disable. 

Press Key B to choose Time of day. Press Key A to change alarm hour.  Press Key B to choose hour.

Press Key A to change tens of minutes.  Press Key B to choose minutes.  Press Key A to change minutes. 

Press Key B to return to set alarm 2-12 or  Press Key D to exit.

 HOW TO SET DATE AND TIME:

Press Key C to view Standby screen.  Press Key C again to view Function Menu.  Press Key B to display SET DATE & TIME.  Press Key C to select.  Press Key B to switch between year, month, day, 12 or 24 hour time, am/pm, hour and minute.  Press Key A to make changes to selection.  Press Key C to confirm choices.

 HOW TO SET PASSWORD:

When the Password function is on, the Ï icon will display on top of the standby screen.  You will have to input the correct password before you can read any message or pull up the function menu.  When the PASSWORD: screen displays, Press the Key A and B as below.

Press Key C to display Standby screen.  Press Key C again to display function menu.  Press Key B to display SET PASSWORD.  Press Key C to choose Set Password.  Press Key A to choose number 0-9 or letters A-F in first place holder.  Press Key B to move to second, third and fourth place holders, use Key A to choose number 0-9 or letters A-F.   Press Key C to confirm password when done. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

 

 
 

Reading Message Key Operation:

HOW TO SWITCH AND SELECT DATA BANK:

While the Standby Screen displays, you can press the Key A to switch between the Data Bank of (unread, personal, locked, notebook and public1 to public 8).

READING MESSAGE:

While the desired Data Bank is displayed, you can press the Key D to select and start selected Data Bank.  Or, you can press the Key B to search for the particular message in the selected Data Bank.

- By pressing Key B, the screen will display the first page of each message from the latest to the farthest one.

 UNREAD MESSAGE DESCRIPTION:

All and only new personal message will store in the UNREAD data bank before you read it, and then it will be stored in the PERSONAL data bank afterward.

UNREAD MESSAGE REMINDER DISPLAY AND ALERT:

Whenever there is one or more unread message, this pager will display the unread message indicator * on the top right corner of the screen and alert every six minutes with a short beep or vibration to remind you. ***No alert reminder under the Silent Alert Mode.

TIME STAMP DESCRIPTION:

This unit will display a Time Stamp screen in the 1st screen of each message.

-= PERSONAL data bank

¹/³   = 1st of the 3 messages in the data bank

 c   = Message paging channel.

1-1   = Message received date.

AM12:00   = Message  received time.

5  @  = Received this duplicate message 5 times.

SWITCHING MESSAGE DISPLAY BETWEEN 2 OR 4 LINES:

While you are reading, you can press and hold the Key C to switch the message display between 2 or 4 lines.  Each data bank display formats are independently based on selection.

Turn Power ON:

Press Key C and hold for 2 seconds.  Pager will do self test, and standby screen is displayed.

Turn Power OFF:

Press Key C and hold 2 seconds.  POWER OFF will display.

ADJUST DATE DISPLAY FORMAT:

Press Key C to display Standby screen.  Press and hold Key C  to display DATE FORMAT.  Press Key A to see the choices of date format.  Press Key C to select you choice.

ADJUST PUBLIC DATA BANK ALERT:

Press Key C to display Standby screen.  Press and hold Key C to display Date Format.  Press Key B to display PUBLIC ALERT.  Press Key A to switch option if you want the unit to alert when received.

O PUBLIC ALERT=ALERT ON

ADJUST DISPLAY SCREEN:

Press Key C to display Standby screen.  Press and hold Key C to display DATE FORMAT.  Press Key B twice to display ADJUST CONTRAST.  Press Key C to choose Adjust Contrast.  Press Key B move curser right and left to adjust Darker or Lighter contrast.

 Press Key C to confirm choice.  Press Key D to escape function.
