

TIME SETTING
Press the Function key (●) to display "SET
TIME". Press the Setting key (∆) to enter the time setting mode.
Press the Setting key (∆) to move from one
blinking position to another. Hour, minute, AM or PM, 12 hr. or 24 hr. time.
Press the Function key (●) to adjust the digit
to the correct time. Repeat steps above to adjust the correct time.
Press the Read key () at any time to confirm
your setting.
DATE SETTING
Press the Function key (●) to display "SET
DATE?". Press the Setting key (∆) to
move from one blinking position to another. Day, Month, Year.
Press the Function key (●) to adjust the digit
in every position to correct date.
Repeat the above steps in every position to adjust to correct date.
Press the Read key () at any time to confirm
your setting.
ALERT SETTING
Press the Function key (●) to display "SET
ALERT?". To choose alert - Audio,
Vibrate, or Mute: Press (∆) Setting
key to set Audio alert (beep tone or music).* Press the
function key (●) to display "SET AUDIO?". Press the (∆) Setting key.
Press the function key (●) until you get your desired alert.
Press the (∆) Setting key to confirm your selection.

to enter next option. Press (∆)
Setting key to set Mute OR press Function key (●) to enter next

TURNING OFF THE
PAGER Press Function key (●) until
"PAGER OFF" is displayed.
Press Setting key (∆) to confirm pager off.
The pager cannot receive any pages in this mode.
To exit function selection without any
changes, press the Read key ().
RECEIVE AND READ MESSAGES
Press the Read key () to read messages. If
there are none, "NO PAGES" will be displayed. When the pager has
messages the number of unread messages will be displayed - "2 PAGES".
An unread message alert will remind you of
unread messages.
The number at the bottom left corner shows
the numbers of received messages. Press the Read key () to display the
message. The first screen shows the number left and pressing the Read key
again displays the time and date message received.
"TONE ONLY" as message displayed means the
caller did not leave a message.
At any time while you are reading messages,
press the Function key (•) to return to standby mode.
Your pager can automatically store received
messages along with their time and date. When stored memory is full, a
"MEMORY FULL" indication will be displayed in standby mode. New messages
will cause the oldest unlocked message in memory to be deleted.
If the pager is full of unread messages and
one unread message has been deleted by a new received message, an "OVERFLOW'
indicator will be displayed.
DUPLICATE MESSAGES
If the pager receives a duplicate message
repeatedly, a duplicate message icon will be displayed to show that the
message is a duplicate one. Under such a circumstance, the receiving
time of the message will be updated to the latest. If it's the same
message from different resources, the two messages will not be regarded as
the duplicate.
MESSAGE LOCK AND UNLOCK
You can lock or protect a maximum of 15
messages from being deleted. Press the Function key (●) while reading
the message. When "PROTECT?" emerges , press the Setting key (∆) to
lock the message. The lock icon (see icons above) shows that the message has
been locked.
To unlock a message press the Function key
(●) first, then press the Setting key (∆) to unlock the message while
reading the message.
When you press the Setting key (∆) to
protect a message while having 15 messages locked, a "FULL" indication will
be displayed.
Unless you release one locked message first,
the message cannot be locked.
DELETE MESSAGES
The pager has two ways to delete messages:
1) Select "CLEAR ALL?" function to delete all
read and unlocked messages. 2) Select
"DELETE", the selective deleting function, to delete some read messages.
Press the (∆) Setting key to confirm all
unlocked read messages will be deleted.
In order to selectively delete messages, press
the Function key (●) twice while reading unlocked messages. The "DELETE?"
indication will be displayed. Press
the (∆) Setting key to confirm the selective deletion. |
